My Hammer Drill Stopped Working After Just 3 Months — What Went Wrong?

I recently got the newest version of the hammer drill and was using it to install tapcons. I put in about 8 of them in a row, and then suddenly it stopped working. The light still turns on, but the drill doesn't respond at all. I'm wondering if this could be my fault for using it too much in one go, or if it's just a defect in the drill itself?

Did you get the regular hammer drill or the SDS-Plus model? It's possible that it overheated and is in shutdown mode while it cools down. If it’s the regular one, it might just need some time to reset.

I believe you said it’s the regular model, right? If it’s not working even after a few days, that might be a sign it’s broken. Have you tried checking if it’s in shutdown mode? Sometimes they need a cooldown period.
