I just bought a compact blower, and I've run into a problem. It only seems to work when I use a battery that I recently used with another tool. For example, if I want to use the blower, I have to put the battery on my drill, pull the trigger, and then swap that battery to the blower. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, how did you manage to resolve it?

This sounds pretty frustrating! I’ve heard of a similar issue happening before, either on other forums or YouTube. The exact cause escapes me, but if you dig a little deeper, you might stumble upon someone else’s experience that can guide you. Good luck!
It seems like the battery's communicating with your blower in a weird way. Basically, it needs to be 'woken up' by another tool before it works with the blower. If that's the case, it might be a communication issue. I’d check if it’s under warranty; you could get it replaced without any hassle!

Definitely check for corrosion or dirt on the battery contacts too! Sometimes if it’s stored near corrosive stuff like fertilizer, it can cause a blockage.
