I found a deal for two Milwaukee 5.0Ah batteries at $99.99, and I'm wondering if these are legitimate batteries or possibly counterfeit. Has anyone assessed the reliability of this offer?

It really depends on where you're buying from. If it's Woot, that's an Amazon affiliate, so they should be legit. Plus, they generally have a return policy if something goes wrong. Just make sure to check their reviews and seller ratings!

Yeah, Woot usually has good deals. As long as the specs match, it sounds like a solid buy!

You might want to confirm if they’re M18 or M12 batteries. Typically, you can find M18 5Ah pairs for around $99 at Home Depot during sales, especially from October to January, so this price isn't crazy but definitely worth checking out.

Good point! If they’re older models or refurbished, that's something to consider too. Not a huge deal but could affect performance.

Honestly, if they seem too good to be true, they might be. Just be cautious. If it's stolen or from a sketchy seller, you could run into issues.
