What are some alternatives to bathmats for a non-slip shower floor?

Bathmats tend to get dirty really fast, and I'm looking for better solutions to make the floor of a standing shower non-slip. Any suggestions?

One great tip is to hang your bath mat on a towel bar after showering. This helps it dry faster and prevents mold and mildew from forming. Also, running the fan can help with drying, which is a plus! But I get it, you might be looking for more than just a drying strategy—like alternatives to bathmats altogether.

I remember staying in a place that had this wooden grate setup. It looked fancy, but it didn’t work as well as you'd hope because the water just pooled under it. So while it’s a neat idea, it can create its own problems. Have you considered something like a porous stone or teak bath mat? They look nice, but keep in mind that they might not absorb moisture effectively either.
