Help! How do I remove the blade guard from my table saw while the riving knife is still in place?

So I'm a total newbie with my new table saw (DWE7491RS), and I might've messed up a bit. I was following the manual to install the blade guard, but it didn't say anything about removing the riving knife first. Now both the blade guard and riving knife are stuck in the saw, which is causing issues during cuts. The first attempt had the blade just stop in the middle because of the double obstruction. I'm trying to get the blade guard off while leaving the riving knife in place, but it won't budge. Any tips?

You should try loosening the bolt all the way and then gently pushing the blade guard in to see if it releases. And hey, maybe take another look at the manual when you get a chance!

Well, come on, it does sound like you could use a refresher on the manual!
