I'm planning to build a wall of wood slats and I'm curious about the best type of board to use. Initially, I thought about going with 1/2 inch plywood, but then I considered a shorter oak veneer MDF core. I want to find something that's easy to stain and has a nice wood appearance. What types of boards have others used for similar projects? Any recommendations? Thanks!
