Looking for Raised Bed Gardening Ideas for My Parents

My parents are thinking of starting a garden next year in Pennsylvania, zone 6a. Since my mom has some back issues, I'm looking for raised bed options that would minimize the need for bending over. Also, I'd like to find a sturdy stool for her to use while gardening. I already have a grandpa's weeder I can give them, but I'm interested in any additional tools that might help with garden prep. Lastly, are there any end-of-season sales on gardening supplies outside of Amazon? I want to gather some items for them as a Christmas gift.

For a raised bed, I recommend something tall to reduce bending, like the one I have that's about 29 inches high. It's a great height for working without straining your back!

Is this a pre-made bed or did you build it yourself? I have some that I’ve constructed and some that I’ve purchased too.

I use 18" high Vego beds and they're perfect! Plus, I have a seat/kneeler that matches the height, making it easy to tend to the garden without too much bending. You might want to check those out!
