I purchased a DR Horton Express home back in 2021, and now I'm facing some serious foundation issues that need repair. According to my warranty paperwork, it states that "MSD are warranted for 10 years from the effective date of warranty. Your builder is the warranty for years 1 and 2 of this limited warranty, and the insurer is the warranter from years 3 through 10." So, it seems I should still be covered under warranty, but I'm confused about who I should contact for reimbursement for the repairs. Has anyone been in a similar situation? I'd appreciate any guidance on the process! Thanks in advance.

You might be looking at your warranty terms too narrowly. Reach out to the office that handles the warranty claims for foundation problems. Even if it’s been four years, some factors could still apply, so it’s worth checking with them. Just be prepared that you might run into some pushback on coverage for foundation repairs since they usually don’t cover that after a certain timeframe.
First off, don't tell me you already had the repair done! If you haven't, I'd suggest contacting DR Horton directly as they should be able to guide you on the next steps. If they aren’t the right contact, they’ll point you to who you need to reach out to next. Good luck!
Just to clarify, you’ll need to look at the warranty specific to the foundation. Typically, foundation repairs are not covered by DR Horton's limited warranty after four years. It might also be beneficial to consult a lawyer who specializes in construction issues, especially if this problem affects more homes in your area. Consider hiring a structural engineer to assess the situation before contacting any contractors.
