What Can I Do with Unpleasant Grapes from a Client’s Vine?

I recently found out that a client has a grape vine in her garden that she doesn't take care of. She's generously offered me the grapes, but they aren't very tasty. I'm curious if anyone has experience making things like raisins, sultanas, or jams from grapes that might not taste great, and if those ideas would even work?

Wine making is definitely one option if you enjoy drinking it! Just be warned that turning those grapes into good wine can be pretty tough. If you’re not into alcohol, consider baking them into something like a cake. Have you heard of Dorset apple cake? It could be a fun twist!

Baking them sounds delicious! I might try that.

Just a heads up, if the grapes have seeds, it might affect how you use them. But if they’re seedless, you have more options! Making decent wine from them can be quite a challenge, so you might want to explore other options first.

Good point! I’ll check that out!

You could also go for grape jelly! It's a sweet way to use them up and can be made even from grapes that aren’t super tasty. Just check out this recipe: [Easy Grape Jam](https://www.fabfood4all.co.uk/easy-grape-jam/#recipe).

I never thought about jelly! That could work.
