Help with DWS781 Blade Collision at 45-Degree Cuts?

I just got my DWS781 saw, and I'm having a problem where the blade hits the yellow base when cutting at a 45-degree angle. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any suggestions for fixing it?

Sounds like you've got the blade set up for a bevel cut at 45 degrees, huh? I haven't tried that yet since my saw is pretty new. But honestly, if it keeps hitting the base, I’d recommend taking it back under warranty before trying any fixes yourself.

Hey, can you share a picture of the issue? It's tough to diagnose without seeing it. Sometimes it can look worse than it is. But remember, if it's causing the teeth to scrape, that's definitely a problem. If it’s still under warranty, I’d take it to a service center like you did instead of risking further damage.
