I'm trying out the string trellis method for my tomatoes this year, but I'm eager to hear what techniques others have found successful in their own gardens. Any tips, tricks, or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

For my indeterminate tomatoes, I just drive in two or three T or U posts and string wire between them. It worked really well last year!
I make teepees with bamboo poles since I have them growing in my yard. Plus, I usually stick to dwarf tomatoes, so I don’t really need to worry too much about trellising.
I built cages using 3"x4" wire fencing. They’re about 60" tall and 18" wide. Works like a charm!
I use these cool self-watering planters with built-in trellises. They may be a bit pricey, but they work brilliantly! Have you looked into them?
Sounds intriguing! Just wondering, though—are the trellises sturdy enough for larger indeterminate tomatoes? Do you also put liquid fertilizer in the water reservoir?

That's pretty much what I'm aiming for this year! Got any extra tips for making it successful?
