I'm looking for ways to secure a 1.5m high kiosk to a tiled floor without drilling into it. I've considered using liquid nails or a strong adhesive—would that work? Also, will using an adhesive damage the tiled flooring? Thanks for any input!

Are we talking about securing it so it won't get moved a little or to the point where no one can steal it? Because if you want it completely secure, that usually means some damage to the floor. If you want something that’s easier to remove later, consider using No More Nails double-sided tape. It won’t hold it completely securely, but it should come off the tile without too much hassle. Just remember that any robust solution may damage the flooring when you need to take it off!
Right? It's all about weighing the pros and cons. Temporary fixes could just end up costing more in repairs later.
First off, it really depends on the type of tile and whether it's laid on an uncoupling membrane. If the kiosks are heavy enough, you might be able to use something like epoxy to bond them down, but keep in mind that any adhesive strong enough to hold it securely could damage the tiles when removed. If the goal is just to stop it from sliding, a lighter adhesive might do the trick, but remember that no matter what, it won't be as secure as drilling. Also, make sure there are no pipes or electrical stuff beneath the floor before doing anything!
If it's a rental and you can’t damage the floor, you’re in a tough spot! I’d suggest having someone come assess the situation in person, as we don’t have enough details to give concrete advice here. If it’s tile atop concrete, then you better just use the right anchor. Drilling some holes, filling them with adhesive, and using rebar could be your safest bet. Secure and reliable!

Exactly, the strong adhesives might just create more problems down the line. A few drill holes might actually be the better long-term solution since the damage will be minimal if done correctly.
