I just received a boil water notice and I'm worried about my plants, especially my tomatoes. If the water isn't safe for me to drink, is it okay to use it on my plants? I'm really new to gardening and want to make sure I don't inadvertently harm them.

Your plants are likely safe. A boil water notice signifies that the water might harbor bacteria harmful to humans, but this usually won’t affect your plants or the fruits you pick later.
Typically, your plants should be just fine! The concerns from a boil water notice mainly relate to human health because of potential bacteria, but plants can handle a lot more than we give them credit for. They thrive in all sorts of environments, even in less-than-clean water. So go ahead and water those tomatoes! They're pretty tough.
Thank you, I appreciate this lol

Thanks for clarifying that lol!
