Can the DCD708 Handle Drilling into Studs for a Bike Rack?

I'm looking to hang a wall-mounted bike rack but my current drill isn't cutting it. I've got a friend who has a DCD708. Is that drill powerful enough to get the job done, especially when drilling into studs?

Make sure you're installing lag bolts into those studs. The DCD708 should handle that with no problem! It's got enough power to drill right through wood and install screws easily.

Yeah, it'll definitely work well for that!

You might want to think about using an impact driver instead. Your drill can create the holes, but an impact driver will really help with driving in screws. Just double-check that you're drilling pilot holes, too!

Thanks for the tip! I'll make sure to drill pilot holes first.
