I'm trying to maintain a wild garden, but common hogweed is spreading rapidly and causing problems for my other wildflowers. I've been pulling it out regularly, but it keeps returning. Any advice on how to properly eliminate it and prevent it from coming back?

Glyphosate tends to be the most effective method. As soon as the leaves unfurl in spring, you should spray or wipe it on every leaf. Just remember to read and follow the instructions carefully to stay safe!
Sometimes you really need to resort to chemicals when dealing with something like hogweed. The roots can go really deep—up to 18 inches or more! Once they take hold, it’s tough to control them. It's like they take over everything!
Bloody hell. Well that explains why they are relentlessly coming back and sprouting up everywhere.

Nooo 🙁
