Hey there! I'm a long-time fan of Parkside tools, but I'm running into a frustrating issue with four of my batteries. I own one 8 Ah battery, two 4 Ah Bluetooth batteries, and one 2 Ah battery. All was well until these batteries ran out of charge. Now, whenever I try to charge them, the charger's red light keeps blinking, indicating they won't charge at all. I've tried using multiple chargers but get the same blinking red light every time. Has anyone faced a similar problem? Is there a DIY fix for this, or should I just send them back to Lidl? I'd like to avoid the hassle of digging up receipts if possible, but I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks a lot!

It sounds like your batteries might be unbalanced. They contain multiple rechargeable cells inside, and if one cell drains faster than the others, it can prevent the whole pack from charging. To avoid this, don’t let the batteries completely discharge. Swap them out when the light starts blinking. If they're still under warranty, I'd recommend taking them back to Lidl rather than trying to fix them yourself. If they're out of warranty, some people open them up to manually balance the cells, but it can be tricky and not always successful. Just keep an eye on how you use them to prolong their life!
This happened to me too once! My battery wouldn’t charge in cold weather. It’s weird, but it seems to struggle in extremes—both hot and cold. Just keep that in mind next time you’re charging!
If you have another working battery, you might be able to jump start the faulty one by connecting the positive terminals of both batteries and both negative terminals together. But be careful with that method!

How long do you think it takes for that jump start to work?
