I'm trying to get my hands on the Dewalt DW735X planer, but I've had a frustrating experience. I've ordered it three times, and each time it ended up going missing! The first two shipments were lost during Amazon's internal shipping process, and then UPS claimed they never even received the package. Has anyone else had similar issues or successfully received this planer from Amazon?

From my experience in woodworking, I’ve learned to avoid ordering expensive tools from Amazon. I’m convinced that a lot of what they send out is refurbished, and I’ve had to return quite a few items. I stick to basic supplies like rags and screws for purchasing from there.
I've actually ordered several tools from Amazon, including the DW735, and I haven't faced any issues, but they were all shipped directly by Amazon themselves. It seems like you might be dealing with a private seller, which could be the problem here.
Actually, it’s sold and fulfilled by Amazon.com, so I thought I was safe. I’m usually careful not to go with third-party sellers unless I’m confident.
