I'm looking for tutorials on how to carve a small pitbull figure, but I'm having a hard time finding anything useful on YouTube or Google. Does anyone have recommendations or specific techniques I could use?

And don’t forget to strip the bark; otherwise, it'll make quite the racket while you work!

Just a heads-up, carving real dogs can be tricky since they don't sit still! It's best to stick to models to avoid any mishaps.

I'd make an exception for pitbulls.

A good way to start is by ordering a toy pitbull from Amazon. Just pick the cheapest one to use as a reference for size and anatomy; it'll help you get everything correct when you're carving.

What's your carving experience like? It can really help tailor advice to your skill level.

Are you looking to carve a model dog? You can definitely use the same techniques as 3D carving for whatever you're making. Just follow the basic principles regardless of the subject! But if you mean Pitbull the rapper, well, that's a whole different story!
