Advice Needed: Upgrading from DCF887 to a New Impact Driver

I've been using the DCF887 as my main impact driver after upgrading from the DCF885, which I've now retired for home use. My 887 is still running great, and I mostly do electrical work and retrofitting lights with it. I'm considering an upgrade to the DCF860, but I've heard mixed reviews. A friend mentioned they found it too powerful and had issues with overtightening, which I think is more about user technique. They suggested the DCF870, but it has less torque than my old 885, which worries me. I'd love to hear thoughts on the DCF887 versus the DCF860 and whether it's really worth switching from my current setup.

A lot of tradespeople I know are using the DCF850. It's got similar specs to the DCF887 but in a more compact design, which makes it easier to handle. I think you'd like that upgrade!

I'm leaning towards the DCF850 too! I've noticed it's lighter than the 860, which was one of my concerns.
