Hey everyone, I'm fairly new to woodworking and I've started to realize the importance of having the right tools. I'm planning to build a mobile workbench that will not only accommodate my setup but also allow for easy movement around my workspace. So far, I want to include my miter saw and table saw, but I'm torn about whether to fit my planer on this bench or keep it on a separate mobile stand. I'm also considering if I should mount my router at the edge of the workbench. I'd really love any suggestions you have on the types of tools to include, the best dimensions to consider, or tips on the overall layout. If you have any resources or advice, I'd really appreciate it!

Don't overthink it! Start with just the essential tools you need and focus on learning as you go. You might not get it perfect on the first try, but that's all part of the process. Just make sure to do your research on using tools safely and have fun with your projects!
I totally get the struggle! When I built my workbench, I found a comfortable working height to be crucial—look at standard table heights for inspiration. I also recommend adding flip-up casters so it’s easy to move around and stable when you need it.
