I'm considering purchasing the M18 track saw and I'm curious about the best places to buy it, which kit to choose, and what tracks are worth it for the best value overall. I've been looking around but I can't find any good sales at the moment. I'm thinking about getting a kit that includes the saw, battery, blade, charger, and a packout box, but I'm also contemplating using Wen or other compatible tracks. Are those tracks just as good and precise as the Milwaukee tracks? Also, what track length would be ideal for cutting 8-foot sheet goods? I feel like the 110" track setup won't work too great for ripping sheets that are 96-97" long. Any other tips I should think about?

I got the track saw this spring, and honestly, it might be my favorite tool now—total game-changer! I already had some M18 batteries, so I snagged the tool-only version from Home Depot during a sale. I went with the WEN 110” kit from Amazon, and it’s been perfect for me. Just yesterday, I cut down seven sheets easily, and it performed just as well as the Festool track I've used before. Plus, the M18 saw is lighter and packs more power than the corded version I tried!

Do you use clamps to hold the track to the plywood? I also noticed Wen has a 100” two-piece track, which might be handy.
