I'm considering getting the M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Jobsite Wet/Dry Vacuum, but I could use some advice. I need something that's less cumbersome than the built-in vacuum in my RV, and it would be great if it's battery powered for off-grid use. I've seen mixed reviews—some are helpful, while others seem pretty clueless. What do you all think?

I’ve used it too; and honestly, it’s not amazing. The suction plugs up super easily, so I find myself cleaning it out multiple times when cleaning the garage after a bit of woodworking. The shape is a bit awkward, and the powered head doesn’t perform as well as I’d hoped. You’re taking a gamble if you expect it to pick up a medium screw on a low battery!
I have this vacuum at my worksite, and it’s been reliable for about three years now despite heavy use. It’s taken a beating—dropped and banged around—and it still works fine! My main issue is that the filter gets clogged quite quickly, which really reduces suction. I usually just bang it outside to clean it before each use. Personally, I have the non-fuel version for home with the cylindrical paper filter, which works well too.
