I'm looking for some creative ways to join metal together without resorting to welding, soldering, or using nuts and bolts. Does anyone have experience with using resin or any type of glue for steel? My project requires the joint to be semi-strong, and any suggestions based on that would be super helpful!

When it comes to non-welding options, rivets could be a solid choice if you're joining steel sheets. Just so you know, adhesives can work too, but it really depends on the specifics, like the type of metal, the shapes you're working with, and what load they need to handle. You might also consider other mechanical options like clips or pins if they suit your design more.
You might want to look into mechanical joinery techniques like dovetail joints or mortise and tenon. They offer various strengths depending on how you implement them, and can be pretty effective if done right. Just keep in mind that each method has its own nuances in terms of difficulty and application!

Thanks for the tips! I'm actually building a folding axe, and I need to secure a part at the top to stop it from folding too much. It doesn’t need to hold much weight since it's more of a display piece for a video I'm making. Any specific adhesives you'd recommend?
