Alternatives to Key Locks for Pocket Doors?

I'm looking for a way to lock my closet pocket door, specifically a solution that works with a door that's around 1 1/4" thick. I've seen options that are designed for doors with key entry functionality, but most require a minimum thickness of 1 3/8". Are there any locking mechanisms similar to the one in this link that would fit my door?

You might want to check out this sliding door lock: [link]. It seems like it could fit your door's specifications better, but make sure to confirm the thickness requirements. Many locks are specific about that. Let me know what you think!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into it, but I still need to double-check the specs.

Have you tried looking for a mortice lock designed for thinner doors? There's a specific kind that might work better for your pocket door. I've seen a few options out there that allow key access without needing the thicker door. Just do some research on mortice locks for sliding doors.
