I've been feeling the need for some rain lately! I mentioned it at work and got a weird look in response, similar to when I suggest sharing a dessert with my partner. But seriously, I'm an amateur gardener here in South London, and it hasn't rained in ages. Everything is dry—my garden beds are dusty and the lawn is looking pretty sad. I might even look up how to do a rain dance! Anyone else feeling the same?

Rain would definitely help! My garden's looking stunted, too, and despite my best efforts to water, it's just not the same. I hope we do get some rain soon or it’ll be tough all summer.
I agree, a nice overnight downpour would be perfect. The ground is just too hard for planting anything right now. Plus, I don't want to keep filling my water butt with so much watering when nature could do it for free!
Honestly, I feel you! It's been super dry lately, and I've had to use the hose a lot. Every time I do, I just know it's going to lead to those dreaded hosepipe bans come summer. I could really use a good rain shower soon.
Right? I just emptied one of my rain butts and now it's been bone-dry. I wish the sky would just cooperate!
