Hey everyone! Do you ever find yourself forgetting to water your plants? It feels like no matter how many reminders I set, life just gets too busy, and I end up neglecting my poor fiddle leaf fig. I'm really looking for ways to make plant care feel less like a chore. What are your own struggles with remembering to keep your plants hydrated? Do you have any tips or tricks that work for you? I'm even considering creating an app to help with this issue, but I'm not sure if it's just me or if others feel the same way about being plant parents!

I've made peace with being a bit forgetful. My friend gave me a pothos because she knows I can’t keep plants alive for long! I usually water it every week or two, and it seems to do okay. Setting phone reminders works most of the time, but honestly, sometimes life just distracts me. I've accepted that some plants are just suited for my level of attention, haha!
I totally get that! I struggle with depression too, and when I'm feeling low, all my plants get forgotten. I've started doing 'Water Wednesday' where I check the soil moisture and water accordingly. Water globes have helped some of my thirstier plants, but I still lose a couple each year. It's tough!
One trick that works for me is keeping a watering can in the bathroom. It's always in sight, and that reminds me to water my plants more often! Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best.
I relate so much! I don't go for plants that require a lot of attention anymore. I make sure to choose ones that can handle a bit of neglect, like pothos or snake plants. They seem to thrive even if I slip up sometimes.
I totally feel you! Having a big water jug next to my plants makes everything easier. I fill it up after each water session, and consistency really pays off! Keeping plants in the same area also helps me streamline the process. Good luck! Your plants will thank you for it!

That's a smart tip! I should try that myself. It's so easy to forget when they're out of sight.
