I've been growing rosella purple tomatoes, which are supposed to be dwarf beefsteak varieties, but the hot weather delayed their flowering until just last week. Now I'm concerned that it might be too late in the season for them to ripen before the first frost hits. I'm located close to London, so I'm wondering if my tomatoes will still have a chance to reach the right stage of ripeness before winter sets in.

It really depends on how much time you have before the frost comes in your area. Since you're near London, your growing season might still have some time left. Just keep an eye on the weather forecasts and, if you can, try to protect the plants with covers once the temperatures drop. You might still see some fruit come through if the weather stays mild!

Totally agree! Just keep them warm and maybe bring them inside during colder nights!
