Am I using the right soil for my veggie grow bags?

I recently bought a mix of garden soil from a local landscape company and filled several 7-20 gallon grow bags to grow various veggies. The soil is labeled as **Organic Garden Soil**, which is a weed-free three-way mix made up of treated screened topsoil, orange sand (iron), and organic manure compost. It claims to be ideal for organic fruit and vegetable gardening, but I'm worried I might have picked the wrong type of soil. Should I have gone for something else? Am I in trouble here?

Honestly, I think you’re good to go! Just make sure to mix in a bit of fertilizer like garden-tone to help your veggies thrive.

Looks perfectly fine to me! Don't stress too much about it.

You should definitely consider mixing in a good amount of perlite! It will help lighten up the soil and improve drainage, which is crucial for pots and grow bags. Trust me, it’ll make a big difference!

Exactly! The only downside of this mix for containers is that it might be a bit too dense. Adding perlite would definitely sort that out.

Right? This soil mix is decent, but you’re right—it can be heavy. Perlite is a great solution for better drainage!
