Any Ideas for a Timer-Triggered Box That Pops Open?

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a box or container that can automatically pop open when a timer goes off. I'm thinking along the lines of the Kitchen Safe, but I don't need anything too heavy-duty. Here's what I'm looking for:
• The ability to set a timer (like 30 minutes, 1 hour, etc.)
• When the timer hits zero, the lid should open up by itself—not just unlock, but actually open so my dog can reach the snacks inside.
I'm open to any product suggestions or even a simple DIY idea. Thanks in advance!

Have you thought about using a pet food dispenser? There are some WiFi-enabled ones that let you set a specific time and control how much food drops out. It could be a good fit for your needs! Check out some options online, like this one I found on Amazon.

That sounds great, but it needs to fit a Kong and other puzzle toys, too. Not sure if those dispensers work for that.

I had a fun idea! You could build a basic mechanical setup using a fan or light control timer, a spring-loaded box, and a magnet. When the timer goes off, it deactivates the magnet, and the spring makes the box pop open! You could use batteries or even USB to power it.

That sounds like a cool project! I'd love to see it in action if you decide to build it.
