I recently had a mishap while using my hand plane and ended up taking a chunk out of my pinky. It wasn't a power tool or a chisel, just the edge of the wood that caught me off guard. I felt the sting and when I looked, blood was already coming out. I rushed to the medicine cabinet—you know, that 'shame' cabinet—while my wife asked how I managed to hurt myself this time. Thankfully, I had some liquid bandage on hand, a gift from my kids that I somehow use regularly. I'm just a bit of a clumsy woodworker! Anyone else share my struggle or have similar stories?

I’ve been there! I keep a stash of bandaids in my shop now. The last time I sliced my finger, I didn’t want to make that walk of shame again. Just grab a bandaid and get back to work!
Totally agree! Having first aid supplies nearby just makes life easier when you inevitably nick yourself.
