Anyone else having issues with a Toto toilet splashing?

I'm curious if anyone else has experienced a problem with their Toto toilet. We recently renovated our bathroom and installed a Toto Drake elongated 1.6 GPF toilet along with a K300 washlet. I personally find that when I use it, especially being a woman, the water seems to splash out from where the 'tornado flush' comes out, making it a mess under the seat every time! My husband has the same issue when he sits down to use it. This hasn't happened with any other toilets we've used, and it feels like a design flaw. Is there a possibility that this specific toilet and washlet combo just doesn't work well together? Given that we've spent about $900 on this setup, I expected less mess, not more! Sitting further back feels awkward and I'm worried about damaging the washlet. Looking for some thoughts and advice here!

I don't have that issue with my Toto Drake, and I've had quite a few guests use it without mentioning any problems. It might be worth checking if your unit is smaller than other elongated toilets you've had before. I've heard that some models can be a bit shorter, which could explain the awkward placement. Maybe just a matter of getting used to the new setup?

That's a good point! It does feel a bit smaller, and our knees are closer to the tub now. Maybe we're just not used to this style of toilet.
