I'm curious if anyone here has taken on the challenge of building their own home. Specifically, I'd like to know about experiences with rough-ins and raised foundations. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, I built the house I’m in now! I subbed out the drywall finishing, roofing, and siding, but tackled a lot of the work myself. Just keep in mind, the approach for foundations and rough-ins can vary a lot depending on where you live.
Honestly, I don’t think anyone has done it. It seems like a tough task! But hey, maybe try to be more specific in your post so you can get useful responses. Right now, it’s just a bit vague.
I’ve built my own home, following a family tradition—my dad, step-dad, and both my grandpas also did! My house is two stories with a concrete slab foundation, concrete walls, and a wooden roof. I did hire some pros for plumbing, electrical work, and drywall, but a lot of it was DIY.
