Has anyone here tried their hand at growing Mexican Butterwort? I'm curious if these plants really do catch bugs, as I've seen some ads for them recently that piqued my interest!

I started growing a couple of species last year. I’m still learning how to keep them happy outside here in Southern California - lost two already, I think it’s too dry. But I have one, Pinguicula colimensis, that seems to love it and has caught a bunch of gnats!

Very cool! My climate's a lot colder, so I might have to keep it as an indoor plant. I'm really intrigued by this!

Yeah, they’re pretty cool plants! I've had some success with them, and they can catch quite a few pests like fungus gnats. It's awesome watching them do their thing!
