Anyone Ordered MB31 Batteries from Eel? What’s the Experience Like?

I recently placed an order for 32 MB31 3.2V batteries from Eel, thinking I was getting them directly from US stock. Unfortunately, I've learned that it was a pre-sale situation, and after talking to a guy named Howard, I was told to expect a 20-day wait for the shipment to reach a US port. Now I'm a bit worried about whether these batteries will actually arrive and if any tariff issues might complicate my order. I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with Eel or similar orders – any advice for a DIY newbie like me embarking on this big project?

I had planned on getting a power box and more cells, but I decided to hit pause on any upgrades until this whole situation stabilizes. If people stop buying solar products, maybe the inventory will get back to normal, but it might take a while. Brace yourself; it could be a rough patch for a bit!

Absolutely, it seems like if demand drops in the US, that stock will just go to other markets. There are plenty of buyers out there looking for products, so it might just shift instead of disappearing.

I'm hoping for the best for you, but given the current turmoil in the market, I'm a bit skeptical. There's been talk that the tariffs are getting stricter, and anything valued over $800 might not come in without fees. It's a mess right now with the stock market looking shaky and everything else in flux. Just be prepared for some potential customs surprises.
