I'm wondering if the physical sizes of the 6.0 Forge and 8.0 Forge batteries are identical. Just to clarify, the standard 6.0 and 8.0 batteries are the same size, which is what prompted my question. Any insights would be appreciated! Thanks!

The 6.0 is indeed a bit smaller, particularly when you look at it from front to back. If you're considering size, I'd definitely recommend the 6.0.
From what I've learned, the 6.0 Forge battery is actually smaller than the 8.0 Forge battery. It's a bit lighter too, just slightly larger than the 5.0 XC packs. The 8.0 is closer in size and weight to the 6.0 or 8.0 High Output models. There was a slight change in size moving from the 8.0 HO to the 8.0 Forge due to staggered cells for better airflow, but the difference isn't significant.
