Hey everyone! I've got this tree in my backyard that just kind of hangs out, and I recently noticed it's growing bananas. We don't take care of it at all, but I'm curious if once the bananas are fully grown, they'd be safe to eat? I don't use any pesticides or anything like that, so I'm a bit worried about health risks or diseases from them. What do you all think?

Honestly, people have been munching on bananas naturally grown without pesticides for ages. So, unless they look obviously bad, they should be fine to eat. Just make sure they’re ripe!
Not using pesticides is actually great! They can sometimes cause more harm than good. Just keep an eye on the bananas for any unusual spots or pests, but you should be good to go!
