I've been using Barrina grow lights for about a year now, and they've worked great for me. I always thought that LED lights were generally safe since they don't get too hot even after being on for long periods. However, I've recently come across some reports of people experiencing fire issues with Barrina lights, which has made me a bit paranoid about leaving them on unattended. I'm using the Barrina T5 lights in a space with average humidity (around 40-50%), and I've had them running almost continuously for a year without any problems. Since I have no natural light available, these lights are essential for my plants. Am I being too cautious, or have you heard of similar concerns? Is there a grow light brand known for being particularly safe? While I know some might perform better for plants, I'm really just looking for information on safety here. Thanks!

Totally understand your concern! Actually, a lot of fires are more about faulty connections or overloaded power sources than the grow lights themselves. I've been using mine without any issues and haven’t heard about anyone facing a fire incident with grow lights yet. Just keep an eye on your setup!
It's true that anecdotal evidence isn't sufficient on its own, but it can provide useful insights when formal research isn't available. In general, the safety of grow lights depends heavily on how you use them, such as how you'll set up your electrical connections. If you’re worried about fires, make sure you’re not overloading outlets or using inadequate extension cords.
