I'm curious if battery-powered lawn mowers ever go on sale, and if anyone has any hints about when a sale might be coming up. My electric push mower from 2020 just stopped working properly—it was having issues last fall and hasn't been reliable this spring. I fully charged the batteries and took it slow, but it barely makes it 10 feet before shutting off.

I spotted some good clearance deals at big box stores recently—like a couple of 2x20v models for $350. So keep your eyes peeled! They usually clear out inventory at the end of summer.
I snagged my DCMWSP700Y2 for $750, and a month earlier they threw in a free 6ah battery for the same price! As for what's available now, the newer 60V models are getting better feedback, so they might be worth considering.
You might want to check out Facebook Marketplace for used ones; I've seen quite a few Ego mowers listed at pretty cheap prices. Also, if you're considering DeWalt, steer clear of their 20v models. Their 60v ones are way better, trust me on that!

I hear you! The one-lever height adjustment feature on some models is awesome. My Honda has those fiddly individual settings which can be a pain.
