Are Bifacial Solar Panels Worth It for Trailers?

Asked By RandomUser123! On

I'm considering upgrading to bifacial solar panels for my trailer. Currently, I have two 200w panels, and I'm thinking of swapping them out for two 320w bifacial panels. My trailer has a white fiberglass roof, so mounting isn't a problem. However, I've come across mixed opinions about whether bifacial panels are genuinely effective in this setup. Can anyone share their insights?

I have bifacial panels on my roof and they really outperform the standard ones. The light can actually pass through and reflect back off the roof, enhancing their output. Plus, they’re quite affordable, so I think they're worth it, especially since they might yield more power in the right conditions.

That's awesome to hear! Sounds like they’ve worked well for you. Do you see a big difference in energy production compared to your neighbors?
