Hey folks! I'm thinking about getting the dual-battery Parkside lawn mower (model PRMA 40-Li), and I'm curious whether using two 8Ah Performance Smart batteries is overkill or a wise decision. I'll be mowing about 350 m² (around 3,750 sq ft) of thick grass every week, and I want to ensure I don't run out of battery while mowing. I know most people go for the 4Ah batteries, but since I'm already using Parkside tools, I'm considering upgrading to the 8Ah batteries for extended runtime and flexibility. Do you think the extra weight might be an issue? Is the increase in runtime worthwhile? I'd love to hear your thoughts or any experiences you have to share. Thanks in advance!

If you already have the 8Ah batteries, go for it! You’ll definitely get more power and runtime. I had a 4Ah battery that conked out on me after heavy use, so I’d say the 8Ah is a better investment. Just make sure your mower can handle the extra weight, but overall, you should be good!
I recently tried using 4Ah batteries with my mower and had one totally fail to charge after the job. I switched to the 8Ah batteries, and it made a noticeable difference in performance and runtime. If you want reliability, the bigger batteries are definitely the way to go. Just remember to check the weight, as it may feel a bit bulkier to handle!
Going with the two 8Ah batteries is a smart move! Mowers can drain power really quickly, especially with dense grass. Having the extra capacity will help you avoid running out of battery mid-mow. Plus, with 8Ah, you'll likely get much longer runtimes than the 4Ah options. Just be aware that the extra weight may take some getting used to, but it’s totally worth it for the peace of mind!
Yeah, I’ve noticed the same issue with 4Ah batteries! Switching to 8Ah just solves so many problems in the long run.
