I'm really excited about a sale where I'm getting a couple of tools and they're throwing in free 9ah Flexvolt batteries too! However, I just found out they won't ship the individual batteries and it's making me feel like I'm missing out. They only ship the complete kits. Can someone tell me if the individual Flexvolt batteries come shipped with a voltage splitter, or what the deal is?

Unfortunately, no. The individual Flexvolt batteries come with a 60v reducer cap taped onto them, which is standard from DeWalt. I snagged a couple of tools along with my free batteries last week and that's how they were packaged.
At first, they were shipping individual Flexvolt batteries when the sale kicked off, but they quickly ran out of stock. Keep an eye out, though; they might get more in the coming weeks!

Yeah, they just seem to be out of stock at the moment. I suggest checking regularly throughout the month and you might catch them when they have more available!
