Are Interlocking Foam Pads Safe for Use in Bathrooms?

I have epilepsy, and I usually experience seizures in the morning when I first wake up, which often leads me to need to use the bathroom. Although I try to stay off my feet, there are times when I have to get up. I'm considering using interlocking foam pads in my bathroom for some extra cushioning. Can these pads provide enough comfort, and are they suitable for bathroom use? I've seen some options, but I'm unsure about their level of cushioning and if they'd be practical in a moist environment.

Yes, you can use interlocking foam pads similar to those found in gyms, but keep some things in mind. They can provide cushioning, which might help reduce the impact if you happen to fall. However, the concern is that moisture can seep underneath them, potentially leading to mold growth or damage to your flooring. If you go this route, ensure they're made of materials that can handle some moisture. You might also want to consider padded bath mats as a safer alternative since they’re designed for bathrooms and can be washed easily.

Totally agree! I had similar concerns when I was looking for options for my bathroom. The bath mats are really handy because you can keep them fresh and dry without worrying about mold. Plus, they can be super soft too!
