I'm trying to set up a mini dishwasher on our countertop, and it needs to connect to the kitchen faucet. However, when I tried to unscrew the faucet aerator, it popped right off and seems to be stripped already. I'm considering getting a new faucet, but I'm wondering if the fittings for kitchen faucets are standard sizes. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks!

Generally, yes, most kitchen faucet fittings are standard sizes. However, be cautious if you plan to leave the hose connected full-time; those hoses can sometimes leak, leading to flooding when you're not around.
Usually, faucet threads are standard, but just in case, you can grab some thread adapters from your local hardware store. To avoid stripping your threads, I recommend using an adapter that fits both the faucet and the dishwasher. I used a "garden hose" adapter that works well for mine and lets me swap connections easily without messing up the faucet threads.
That sounds helpful! Can you share a picture of the adapter you used? I want to make sure I get the right one when I go shopping.
I appreciate the heads up! This is just a temporary setup until we can get a proper dishwasher. Are there any faucets with dual outputs? That way I can keep one for the dishwasher and another open for regular use.
