I'm looking into Milwaukee's heavy metal torch blades, which are designed for cutting thick cast iron. Are these blades worth the investment compared to other brands out there?

I've had good experiences with Milwaukee blades! I used one to cut off 1-inch concrete anchors, and it worked better than any other blade I had. Just a heads up, I was using an M12 Hackzall. Not sure how they perform with cast iron specifically, but they seem to handle tough jobs well.
To be honest, I haven’t tried many non-Milwaukee blades because that’s what we use at work. But for heavy-duty metal cutting, they're reliable. I’ve beaten them up cutting thick wood and nails. They do dull with heavy use, but I only replace them when they're bent.
I think Milwaukee blades are solid overall, especially if you find them on clearance like at many Home Depots—I've seen them for about $13 in Arizona, and at that price, they’re definitely worth it!

Sounds like they hold up well under pressure! Have you ever tried Diablo blades? I've heard they’re also really good.
