Are Milwaukee’s HO 12 Batteries Really That Bad?

I've been reading mixed reviews about the Milwaukee M18 HO 12 batteries, specifically that they tend to degrade over time. I have two HO 12 batteries that have noticeably lost their ability to hold a charge. Is this a common issue or just my bad luck? I'm also considering switching to the Forge 12 batteries. Are they a better option? I've even heard that the quick chargers could be part of the problem. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've had a similar experience with my HO 12 battery. It only charges to three bars now, and it was drained and charged just two or three times. When I contacted Milwaukee, they weren’t very helpful since it was slightly out of warranty, which was really frustrating. I guess it seems like a common issue for many of us, unfortunately.

Yeah, it's disappointing to hear that! Fingers crossed the Forge batteries work better.

My experience with the 12 HO is pretty rough too. It's charging to only three bars now and isn't holding voltage well, barely matching the capacity of a 6 HO. Seems like it's not just a bad batch; there might be an issue with the cells they're using.
