I've been hearing a lot of buzz about putting houseplants outside for the summer, and I'm considering giving it a try with my succulents. However, I'm concerned since I have a pretty pest-free collection right now. If I set my plants outside, could they potentially bring pests back in when I have to bring them indoors again, especially considering I live near some farmland where I've spotted thrips before?

While I haven't faced significant pest issues myself when keeping my plants outside, I suggest keeping them separate for a little while after bringing them back in, just to be cautious. Areas with a lot of wildlife can have natural predators that help manage pests, but be mindful of spots with ants or other bugs that might invite mealybugs and aphids.
