Are Powerstack Batteries Worth It on Low Output Tools?

I've recently started my journey in the tool world back in 2021 and have managed to collect a few Powerstacks, one Powerpack, and two regular 5Ah batteries. I'm curious if it's a good idea to use these higher-end batteries on lower output tools like my DCL043 fan. Since I work in HVAC and will be relying heavily on Powerstacks and Powerpacks, I want to know if using them on lights or fans is a waste or if people here do it often. What are your thoughts?

I tend to put my 1.7Ah Powerstack batteries on lightweight tools like drills and small recip saws. I save the 5Ah and Powerpacks for tools that really need a power boost. If you're using handheld tools, definitely go for a Powerpack for more demanding tasks. Some work lights can be a battery hog too. But honestly, there’s no strict rule—use them however works best for you!

I use my 1.7Ah Powerstacks constantly on impact tools at work, but my 8Ah Powerpack comes out for heavy use, like the tower light. It really depends on the job—more power needed? Grab a Powerpack. Lighter option? Powerstack. For medium use, the 5Ah works perfectly.
