I'm considering getting the Ryobi long reach hedge trimmer and would love to hear from anyone who has experience with Ryobi tools. I'm not planning on using it heavily, but if it works out well, I might be interested in expanding my Ryobi collection. I'd like to know how their batteries and power hold up for casual home use. I'm a huge fan of Ryobi! I started with their drill and then grabbed a circular saw, strimmer, and even a lawnmower. If you're going for those last two, I definitely recommend getting a couple of 4A batteries—they're a game changer! The cordless feature really simplifies everything, especially in larger gardens. I usually get about 30 minutes from the mower and over 45 from the strimmer, which is pretty solid for home use. Just a heads up, I sometimes find myself reaching for a cord that isn’t there!
