Are Terracotta Pots Really the Best Choice for Plants?

I'm curious if terracotta pots are truly the best option for my plants. I know they help with evaporation, which can be beneficial, but it seems like they make it harder to see the roots and manage re-potting. What are your thoughts on this?

Honestly, whether terracotta is the best really depends on your plant's needs. If you have a good soil mix, the pot material isn't as crucial. Terracotta helps prevent water logging, which is great for certain plants, but it can be a problem for others that thrive in more humid conditions.

Totally agree! A plant's success is often tied to its soil rather than just the pot. I've had some succulents in plastic pots that did just fine as long as I provided proper drainage.
