I'm curious about the Milwaukee M12 drill and impact combo. I've never owned them before, but they seem really handy. Are they worth the investment? How do they hold up over time compared to the M18 tools? I'm looking for some insights from people who have experience with them!

I've got both the newest M12 and M18 fuel hammer drill/hex impact combo. Honestly, I love using both! I find the M12 is perfect for smaller tasks while the M18 shines for bigger ones. I once tackled a larger job with just the M12, and although I had to switch batteries a bit more often, it handled it like a champ! So, yes, totally worth it if you're looking for something compact yet powerful!

Absolutely! M12 Fuel is a great way to experience Milwaukee's performance without burning a hole in your wallet.

For me, the M12 hammer drill and impact are my daily drivers – perfect for trim carpentry and framing work! They perform well with the right pilot holes and 5 amp batteries. I've tried a ton of brands, but I gotta say, Milwaukee nails it with their 12V tools. Definitely worth the buy if you're in the market for reliable, compact tools!

I’ve been using the M12 combo for work since 2016. I do notice the drill struggles with tougher materials, like drilling through thicker steel. But if you’re mainly a homeowner and don’t need to drill super thick stuff, it’ll serve you well. I switched from Ryobi to Milwaukee’s M12 combo and the difference in performance is clear. Just remember, if you need something heavier duty, the M18 may be more suitable!

Yeah, if you're doing occasional DIY projects, the M12 should be fine. But if you tackle more intense tasks, consider the M18 for those tougher holes!
